Shershaah Movie Story

Shershaah Movie is a story of valor, love and sacrifice inspired by the life of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC). The film celebrates his bravery, and honors his priceless sacrifice in the 1999 Kargil War. True to his codename ‘Sher Shah’, Captain Batra’s bravery and ultimate sacrifice played a vital role in India’s victory.

In this film, Siddharth will share screen space with actress Kiara Advani. Karan Johar’s production venture was associated with the project in January 2020 and the film was scheduled to release on July 7, 2020, which also happens to be Captain Vikram Batra’s death anniversary, but the film has been pushed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Elaborating on the release of his film on Amazon Prime Video, Malhotra said: “Playing a soldier in uniform always evokes a sense of pride, but playing a great war-hero like Vikram Batra It was a big responsibility.

It required physical and even more mental preparation to bring to life the role of a man of unmatched courage and fortitude like him while adapting himself well to the character. I have tried my best to live up to the test of his personality and might, and I am thankful to the Batra family who put their trust in me.

Shershaah is very close to my heart as a film, and the Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations are the most appropriate occasion for the trailer launch of the film. It is a great honor for me to be here among the brave members of the Indian Army and their families.

What Kiara says

Always praised for her captivating and pleasing appearance, Kiara Advani will be seen essaying the role of Dimple Cheema, who has been the strongest supporter in Captain Vikram Batra’s life.

Talking about her role in the film, Kiara said: “It is an honor to play a strong and inspiring woman like Dimple Cheema, as this character gives me a behind-the-scenes contribution to the success of unsung heroes, and Army personnel. Got a chance to understand the journey of women who give.

The actress has said that we celebrate the valor of men who showed their might in war, but often the sacrifice of the women of their family goes unnoticed. Sher Shah not only highlighted the contribution of these strong Sahars behind the brave jawans of the country,

But also gave me an opportunity to pay my tribute to their courageous choice. It is a matter of pride for me to be a part of Kargil Vijay Diwas, as well as we are forever grateful to the brave soldiers of the brave soldiers who fought ahead, and their family members who extended their unconditional support to them and our country.

Director Vishnu Vardhan, who forayed into Hindi cinema with Shershaah, said: “There could not have been a better debut to foray into Bollywood than Shershaah, or a better setting to present the trailer of our film.

Shershaah is not just a work done for his own happiness, but it is my attempt to salute the heroes who have served our country time and again. The shooting of this film as well as bringing the story of his valor and bravery to life on screen in real life was very challenging, but quite exciting.

My aim was to make a film that would make today’s youth aware of the courage of Captain Batra and inspire them. Through this film, we salute his indomitable spirit, his fearlessness and his sacrifice to win India.
